Chinchillas listed here have just arrived at Second Chance Chins, and are not yet ready for adoption.  Each chinchilla will be evaluated for re-homing on a case-by-case basis.  Chinchillas arriving at Second Chance Chins are monitored closely for at least 30 days before being made available for adoption.  Once a decision to re-home a chinchilla listed here has been made, he or she will be moved to the available for adoption page.

Puck returned to Second Chance Chins on August 5, 2011.  He was here with us in 2007 and was placed in a new home in 2008.  His new mom needed to return Puck to our care due to major life changes she was encountering.  Puck still enjoys running on his wheel and sleeping on top of his house, although now he sleeps inside more than on top.  Puck is currently a bit under the weather and is under the medical care of our wonderful vet, so he is temporarily unavailable for adoption, but we hope that he'll soon be back to his old self and ready to find an awesome new home.
